Rizq Co-hosts Annual Climate Policy Dialogue 2.0 at Ghazi University
On 12th May 2026, policymakers, academics, researchers and development practitioners gathered at Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan for the Annual Climate Policy Dialogue 2.0, co-hosted by Rizq and the Climate Behavioural Lab, Department of Economics, Ghazi University, to discuss climate governance, behavioural public policy and climate-resilient agriculture in Punjab.
This policy dialogue was a part of Rizq’s mission to lead conversations and much needed research surrounding climate change in Pakistan, and the impact on food security and overall well-being of the population. Rizq’s Research and Policy Unit is working towards formulating localised solutions to pertaining challenges, and converting them into not just policies and laws, but to also encourage on-ground action.
The event at Ghazi University brought together diverse voices committed to shaping sustainable and actionable pathways for Pakistan’s future. At the event, Rizq’s Technical Advisor, Dr. Mahmood Ahmad, as well as the co-founder, Musa Aamir, joined the panel of the Round Table Expert Conference on Climate Governance, Behavioural Change & Policy alongside leading academics and researchers. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between Rizq and Ghazi University to strengthen collaborative research on climate change.
