Rizq Scholarship Fund: MOU Signed With LUMS to Fund Education of Deserving Students

On Monday, 18th May, 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Rizq and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) to officially launch the “Rizq Scholarship Fund”. This fund was earlier announced during the Rizq Turns 10 celebratory event held at LUMS. Under the proposed fund, Rizq will sponsor the education of one student every year for four years, under the LUMS National Outreach Program (NOP) that supports the education of deserving students from all around Pakistan. 

The MoU was signed by the Vice Chancellor of Lums, Dr. Ali Cheema, and the CEO of Rizq, Qasim Javaid, with the meeting also attended by the other two co-founders of Rizq, Musa Aamir and Huzaifa Ahmad, as well as key members from LUMS. Along with the signing, a number of key collaboration points were also discussed between the two parties on issues of food security, social entrepreneurship and youth advocacy. 

The Rizq Scholarship Fund is a humble attempt from Rizq to give back to the LUMS community which has been a constant source support for Rizq’s mission to sustain human lives. Through this fund, Rizq reinforces its commitment towards helping young minds become the agents of change, by facilitating bright minds from across Pakistan to get access to quality education.
