WHAT IS QURBANI?

Qurbani, also known as Udhiyah, is the act of sacrificing an animal during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah. It commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Prophet Isma’il as an act of obedience to Allah’s Command.
An integral part of Eid al-Adha, it symbolizes obedience, gratitude, and compassion.
