Our Aim

Resilient Agriculture, Sustainable Future

In the face of a rapidly changing climate and a looming global food crisis, our aim is to revolutionize agriculture for long-term resilience. With world crop yields projected to decline by 25% within 25 years due to climate change, and the need to double food production by 2050, our focus is on mitigating these challenges. Addressing ailing soil, water wastage, and the depletion of topsoil, our goal is to combat malnutrition and hidden hunger affecting half the world’s population.

    Critical Global Agricultural Challenges:
    A Looming Crisis

    The rapidly changing climate is wreaking havoc on food systems, with a projected 25% decrease in world crop yields within the next 25 years. The paradox emerges as global food production must double by 2050 to meet the growing human population. Climate change, even with a 2°C temperature rise, threatens the stability of current farming systems (FAO). Ailing soil compounds the issue, as about one-third of the world’s topsoil is depleted, resulting in a nutritional decline in crops and widespread malnutrition

    Through this program we rear and breed healthy animals, sourcing directly from smallholder farmers from the rural and remote areas of Pakistan to enhance their food security as livestock rearing serves as a major or sometimes the only source of income for them.

      How it bEGAN

      Nourishing Communities, One Meal at a Time

      n 2022, Dr. Mahmood Ahmad, drawing on 24 years of UN FAO service and academic expertise, envisioned transforming Pakistan’s agriculture through regenerative practices. Collaborating with Rizq, he initiated the Chenab Nagar Model Showcase Farm, a pioneer in regenerative agriculture (RA). The successful first cycle birthed the Model Farms program, expanding RA practices across Punjab.These farms serve as hubs for training workshops, policy seminars, and educational excursions, demonstrating competitive yields and reduced production costs.
